DropPuck System
Keeping the Warfighter Safe at a Distance
-
The DropPuck® System is an Integrated Early Warning system enabling multi-gas detection from a distance.
-
Pucks can be deployed via a multitude of platforms (UAVs/UGVs), as the system uses a vehicle-agnostic release mechanism together with a control station.
-
Alarms and gas identification are displayed in ATAK.

Hazard Mitigation
Forward Area Mitigation Spray – System (FAMS-S) [Family of Systems]
The Forward Area Mitigation Spray – System (FAMS), Man-Portable (MP), Small, and Large Variants provide a lightweight, reliable and operational effective system used to apply USG-approved decontamination solutions to vehicles, equipment, and/or personnel in support of joint warfighting functions. The FAMS-S Family of Systems enable small teams to easily transport, maneuver, and quickly deploy decontamination solutions during major combat operations, contingency operations and/or in homeland defense emergency response activities to mitigate the initial effects of chemical and biological contamination.

FAMS-S Large
The FAMS-S Large Variant extends decontamination capabilities to larger platforms, supporting mounted or dismounted operations from the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) M1279A1 Utility Variant. Like the Small Variant, it enables effective removal of chemical and biological agents from aircraft, vehicles, and support equipment in austere environments, restoring assets to operational use without requiring personnel to wear protective gear. The Large Variant is also designed for air-droppable operations with parachute delivery and sling transport at low altitudes, ensuring rapid fielding to remote or contested locations.

FAMS-S Small
The FAMS-S Small Variant is designed for flexible mounted or dismounted use from the Lightweight Tactical All-Terrain Vehicle (LTATV). It provides the capability to decontaminate chemical and biological warfare agents from the exterior surfaces of military aircraft, vehicles, and support equipment to a level that enables safe reuse without the need for personal protective equipment. The system features a robust frame with an integrated 50-gallon tank and a detachable spray manifold, enabling modular operation with virtually any water source. Power is supplied by two electric motors that can operate on either 110-volt shore power or 24-volt vehicle power when integrated with the LTATV. To support rapid deployment, the Small Variant is engineered for air-drop operations using parachute delivery and can be sling-loaded for low-level transport.

FAMS-S Man-Portable
The FAMS-S MP provides operators with 5 gallons of decontamination solution, plus the ability to pull from larger alternate sources, a portable platform capable of rapidly decontaminating chemical and biological warfare agents from the exterior of aircraft, helicopters, boats, vehicles, or support equipment to a level that is clean enough for re-use without having to wear protective equipment. This permits operators the ability to quickly re-equip their forces, maximizing tactical flexibility and fighting strength, while minimizing the logistical burden and the cost of conducting countering weapons of mass destruction operations.
