The Forward Area Mitigation Spray – System (FAMS)
The Forward Area Mitigation Spray – System (FAMS), Man Portable (MP) variant provides a lightweight, reliable and operational effective system used to apply USG-approved decontamination solutions to vehicles, equipment, and/or personnel in support of joint warfighting functions. The FAMS-S MP system enables small teams to easily transport, maneuver, and quickly deploy decontamination solutions during major combat operations, contingency operations and/or in homeland defense emergency response activities to mitigate the initial effects of chemical, biological, or radiological contamination.
